Absolutely Fabulous-Series 2

There is one sequence that has been excised from the Australian version of this DVD. Just after Edina learns about her father's death, she comes down for a midnight snack, when Saffy joins her. The original version of this sequence that was transmitted on BBC television had Edina quoting Madonna lyrics before the doorbell rings, whereas this version does not. This is not because of censorship per se, but more because of international copyright clearance problems. I am not too fussed about it - quoting crap lyrics does not a good joke make, but I am sure others will beg to differ. We are lead to believe that the Region 1 and Region 2 versions of this disc have also had the Madonna lyrics excised. I'm sure she'll be happy about that.
