Deathtrap

The version shown on American free-to-air television apparently omits the kiss between Sidney and Cliff. While I can remember seeing it on pay TV (the Showtime Network) in the early 80s featuring the kiss, I have never seen the edited version that is mentioned on IMDB. This would completely change the tone of the film and diminish the characterizations that Reeve and Caine created. Also, it came right out of the blue when I first saw it (I was only about 17 at the time, so maybe I was a bit naive) and to cut it out would rob an audience of a really good twist in the story. Thankfully, we get the uncut version here.
