Scott Wylde flies to Thailand, for the first time, to meet his Thai-Vietnamese fiancée-to-be.
However, in a cruel twist of fate she is abducted and he lands in jail charged with murdering her family.
Time is running out for Scott as he evades and dodges the cops, Khmer resistance fighters and a sadistic Soviet colonel. The latter holds the key to his girlfriend's whereabouts and inevitably the two face off; the Soviet "bear" and the American "eagle" locked in mortal combat. The outcome becomes far more shocking than either of the combatants had anticipated!
