The unique Doctor Herbert West, has been serving a jail sentence for fourteen years after causing the Miskatonic University massacre. A tragedy brought about by strange monsters, products of his experiments into reanimating dead organisms. Currently in jail, and far from being rehabilitated and regretting his scientific obsession with overcoming death, he continues working along the same lines…but a few steps BEYOND. The arrival of a young man drastically alters this situation. He’s the new doctor, Howard. Beneath the innocent, cheerful appearance, he conceals his true motive: to get at Doctor West. His sister was one of the Miskatonic massacre victims. He saw one of these strange monsters brutally murder her.
