But two witnesses see him run and think he is the escaping killer. After being arrested, he manages to escape in the confusion at the courthouse. With the assistance of the Police Constable’s daughter, he tries to prove his innocence while avoiding the police. The Cheney Vase (1955) – A fired museum curator begins to manipulate an elderly woman in order to acquire her fortune. This was the 13th episode of the first season from the television production of Alfred Hitchcock Presents. Stars Darren McGavin.
