Already the biggest natural disaster to hit the West Coast in over a century, the earthquake's devastating aftershocks soon hit Northern California, splitting the earth and swallowing buildings and trains. Dr. Samantha Hill (Kim Delaney, CSI: Miami), an expert on hidden faultlines, is brought in to combat the quake's brute force.

With the sanction of the President (Beau Bridges), Hill attempts to stop the earth from splitting in two by fusing the fault lines through a massive nuclear explosion. Failure, however, could mean the end of the world!
