Ringo Starr was labelled 'the best rock drummer in the world' by his fellow Beatles John, Paul and George and though lesser known as a talented singer and song writer, he ably showcases his musical pedigree in this spectacular live concert performed at the Los Angeles Greek Theatre in 1989. Since breaking with The Beatles, Ringo Starr has carved himself a niche as a solo performer, actor (alongside Peter Sellers in Magic Christian), childrens show narrator, and musical collaborator. Performing here with his all-conquering All-Starr Band, a who’s who of rock and pop music royalty including Levon Helm of The Band, soul legend Billy Preson, Dr John, and Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh, Ringo Starr lets loose on a wealth of classic material, including his Beatles song Yellow Submarine.
