From acclaimed frightmaster George A. Romero (Dawn of the Dead) comes this chilling cautionary tale about "Trixie", an experimental germ weapon that accidentally contaminates the water supply of the small Pennsylvania town of Evans City.

The insanity-inducing virus quickly transforms the rural community into a slay ground of homicidal maniacs.

Attempting to escape the plague, a small band of survivors flee to the outskirts of the town, where they must battle their own advancing insanity and hide from the confused, trigger happy military who have been brought in to contain the madness.

Genre favourites Richard France (Dawn of the Dead) and Lynn Lowry (I Drink Your Blood) star in this disturbing and bloody commentary on martial law.

The Crazies is not only a personal favourite of Romero's, it's a must-see for every die-hard horror fan.
