For Tom and Barbara Good becoming self-sufficient in suburbia has been a welcome change from the 9 to 5 but it does prove to be backbreaking work. With the harvest safely gathered in, they now face the tough problem of selling their surplus crops at the market. When two students arrive to help out, their snobbish next-door neighbours Jerry and Margo have panicky visions of a commune! Then, following the theft of his precious leeks, Tom decides to settle the matter frontiersman style.These are just some of the trials and tribulations that face the optimistic couple in Series 2.
