Deanna is Patsy Cardwell, the daughter of struggling musician Adolphe Menjou. Using her guile and charm she assists her father create a symphony orchestra and with the help of legendary conductor Leopold Stokowski ("Fantasia") they win a lucrative radio contract. "100 Men And A Girl" was nominated for 5 Academy Awards in 1937 including Best Picture, Story, Sound and Editing and won for its muical score by Charles Previn
