Part 1: Introduction to Kundalini Yoga - This course of instruction gives a very easy to understand introduction to yoga, your instructor and the goals of the course. You will learn about mantra, its use and effectiveness as a centering tool and the benefits of practicing yoga. You will learn the warm up stretching series. This series will be practiced at the beginning of each of the subsequent videos. You will do a short set of exercises that will help the body with flexibility and will have guided deep relaxation to soothing music. You will learn and practice a projected healing meditation at the end of the class. Part 2: Simple Stretching & Basic Slow Deep Breathing This course of instruction continues the easy to understand introduction to yoga. You will repeat the warm up stretching series and then do a more complete set of exercise for flexibility and the spine. You will learn the benefits and practice the basic long slow deep breathing technique and will have a guided deep relaxation to soothing music. You will practice the projected healing meditation at the end of the class.
