In the near future nuclear accidents, economic collapse and global riots have put the entire world in a state of chaos. Cities are wastelands. Looting is widespread and violent thugs control the streets. Into this anarchy journeys working class guy Crabs (Ned Manning) and his voluptuous girlfriend Carmen (Natalie McCurry) who are accidentally trapped in a Drive-In theatre that they discover is being used as a maximum security youth prison! Crabs quickly realises he has one desperate shot at escape, a last chance high-speed plan that will blast him from one hell to another. Getting in was easy - getting out is hell on wheels! Proclaimed by Ozploitation devotee Quentin Tarantino as his favourite Brian Trenchard Smith film, DEAD END DRIVE-IN is a potent mix of social metaphor and high-octane action. Strap yourself in for one of the most intriguing action spectacles ever to explode from Down-Under!
