A Stranger in a Strange Land Nominated for four Cesars, Nocturne Indien is a tense and dramatic thriller set in the most beautiful and exotic of locations - India. Jean-Hughes Anglades (Betty Blue) stars as Rossignol, a young Frenchman who arrives in Bombay to search for a missing friend, Xavier. From the prostitute who originally wrote to him, Rossignol learns that his friend fell ill about a year before, and then disappeared. Rossignol’s quest takes him to Madras and then Goa, and at various stages of his search he has some insightful exchanges with the locals. But will he ever find what he is looking for...?
