Despite her melancholy, Vera tries to recapture their love through a series of Polaroids and a new affair with the intriguing X-Ray man. But, in order to protect herself, Vera insists on total anonymity for her new affair, relying only on signs, fate and chance—but her plan backfires when she finds herself falling in love.
