Part 1: Simple Stretching & Breathing Exercises This course of instruction introduces more simple yoga exercises and breathing techniques. You will repeat the warm up stretching series and then a longer set of exercises that includes half spinal twist and cobra pose for increased flexibility and well being. You will learn and practice and alternate nostril breathing techniques for balance and mental clarity. You will have a guided deep relaxation to soothing music and will practice the projected healing meditation at the end of the class. Part 2: Abdominal Stretching & Energy Balancing Series This course of instruction introduces new exercises and a concentrated form of yoga called Kriya. The Kriya in this class is for energy center (chakra) balancing. You will repeat the warm up stretching series and then do a complete set of guided exercises that includes abdominal strengthening. You will have a guided deep relaxation to soothing music and will practice the projected healing meditation at the end of the class.
