Seven years as Lady Hamilton she captivates Neapolitan society with her charm and beauty, until she meets Nelson during negotiations with the Queen of Naples. It's another five years before they meet again...

Nelson, now middle-aged and ravaged by battle, has lost an arm and an eye, but Emma is deeply attracted to the scarred hero and declaring their love, they return to face contempt and scorn in Britain where Emma rears Nelson's child until duty calls the Admiral to lead the British Navy to victory at Trafalgar, a battle that would prove costly.
