The world premiere performance of this work, commissioned by EMI Classics as part of its Centenary celebrations, took place at London's Royal Albert Hall on 14th October 1997.
This spectacular event was recorded with the latest equipment and technology and was an immediate choice for release on DVD.
In addition to the optimum quality of pictures and sound available on DVD-Video, the disc contains the full-length documentary programme about the making of Standing Stone which has not previously been available commercially.
