The little dog Poochini was treated like a prince by his former owner, a kind and rich old lady. But now the lady is gone and his new owners, the White Family, force Poochini to lead the life of an ordinary dog. He has almost forgotten what it feels like to be a dog, and considered himself seriously misunderstood.
Eleven year old Mimi is not only very imaginative, she also has a mission: she is constantly trying to put her fellow human beings on what she thinks is the right track. Mimi is not at all aware that most problems would not have arisen in the first place if she hadn't been that eager to "help" others; her wild imagination regularly gets herself and others into considerable trouble.
