Born in London on 26 April 1889, Charlie Chaplin’s career in acting started at the tender age of 5. His silver screen debut was in 1914 in LA, when he performed as the ‘Little Tramp’ character, with his baggy trousers, oversized shoes and toothbrush moustache.

He captivated his audiences through his ability to relate to everyday life and won the people’s hearts through his comedic outlook. A superstar was born. Chaplin made his mark on the history of cinema through his continued writing, directing, producing and starring in picture films, which made him a true legend of the silver screen.

To celebrate this genius’ life, this special three DVD Box Set, containing Chaplin’s classic films has been released. It contains 16 assorted films, with names such as A Night Out, Cruel, Cruel Love, Charlie’s Recreation, A Woman, In the Park and Police. With around 310 minutes of footage, this film is a must for anyone who values classic cinema.
