This three DVD Boxed set contains six John Wayne Classics from 1933 to 1947. One of the most recognisable faces from the Western genre, Wayne is a Silver Screen Legend who never failed to disappoint with his films. The featured films are:
The Man From Utah – 1934 Wayne is a lawman who goes undercover to catch some crooks using a rodeo to cheat unsuspecting cowboys.
Winds Of The Wasteland – 1936 Wayne is the head of a stagecoach company and he and his friend fix up a stagecoach and compete with others for government contracts in the days of the pony express.
Blue Steel – 1934 Wayne is an undercover Government agent who sets out to save a town from the “Polka Dot Bandit”. The bandit is stealing all the supplies coming into the town in order to run the people off their land, which is sitting on top of the richest gold mine.
Angel And The Badman – 1947 When notorious gunslinger Wayne is wounded during a shootout, a Quaker Family takes him in to nurse him. The daughter’s love for him convinces Wayne to reform, but not until he finds the outlaw who killed his father.
Lucky Texan – 1934 Good miners, Wayne and Hayes, strike it rich. Before they can cash in their claim, Hayes is falsely accused of robbery and murder. The duke rides to his aid.
His Private Secretary – 1933 A humorous tour of American business in this early John Wayne drama. He plays the playboy son of a wealthy businessman who wants his son to settle down.
