Conspiracy Theory
New York cab driver conspiracy buff Jerry Fletcher (Mel Gibson) knows about the secret movers, shakers and assassins who really control things. Trying to put Justice Department attorney Alice Sutton (Julia Roberts) in the know, he's run out of her office. Soon both will run for their lives.
The two stars conspire for suspense, romance and twists that click like a rush-hour taxi meter. A crackpot theory in the newsletter that Jerry publishes may be true. Dr. Jonas (Patrick Stewart) and his men aim to quash it - and them too. "I don't know what I know but I know that it's big," Jerry says. What we know is that Conspiracy Theory is big entertainment.

Maverick
Ante up - for laughter and action aplenty! Mel Gibson is sly gambler Bret Maverick, Jodie Foster is a charming scam artist and James Garner (the original Bret Maverick from the Emmy-winning TV series) is a laid-back lawman in Maverick, the crowd-pleasing hit that deals you a winning hand.
With more twists than a switchback trail and more sleights of hand than a shell game, Maverick is rollicking proof of how the West was fun. A riverboat poker tourney promises a winner-take-all $500,000...and Bret aims to be the winner who does the taking! But first he must cope with the hangman's noose, a runaway stage, a wily Indian chief, outlaws, ingrates, a bagful of rattlesnakes and more close calls than a long-tailed cat in a roomful of rocking chairs. So don't miss the excitement. The jokers - Gibson, Foster and Garner - are wild!

Payback
The payoff is excitement when Mel Gibson portrays hard-boiled Porter in Payback, a fast, frequently funny and ecstatically twisted blend of action and noir atmosphere co-written and directed by Brian Helgeland, Academy Award winner for L.A. Confidential. Porter makes his living outside the law, so when his partners in a heist rip off his $70,000 share and leave him for dead, there's only one way for Porter to settle things: his way. And that sends him on a vendetta that will have a lot of lowlifes gaping at the talking end of Porter's fat revolver. Crooked cops. Street gangs. Spineless flyspecks. Crime bosses. Anyone and everyone standing between Porter and his 70 grand are going to know he's back...with a vengeance.

The Road Warrior
In the annals of action movies few can compare with The Road Warrior, a full-throttle epic of speed and carnage that rockets you into a dreamlike landscape where the post-nuclear future meets the mythological past. More simply, it's also one of the most mind-blowing stunt movies ever made.
Before he took aim in four Lethal Weapons and starred in Maverick, Mel Gibson had already made his mark on movie history as Max, the heroic loner who drives the roads of outback Australia in an unending search for gasoline. Arrayed against him and the other scraggly defenders of a fuel-depot encampment are the bizarre warriors commanded by The Humungus, notorious for never taking prisoners when they can pulverize them instead. When the battle is joined, the results are savage, spectacular and "a smashing good time at the movies" (Los Angeles Times). With The Road Warrior on your side, screen action doesn't get any better.
