I can’t tell what the R1 picture is like from the reviews, but apparently it’s the European cut, same as ours, rather than the 120 minute US cut.

In the absence of any data to tell me whether or not our picture has been compromised, I’m declaring the R4 version as the winner. I like my widescreen (it fits my television).
