Absolutely Fabulous-Whole Thing... Sweetie!, TheR4

    A region comparison of this particular title is difficult, as no exact equivalent of this box set has been released in Region 1. Region 1 has the Absolutely Fabulous Complete DVD Collection, a compilation of the first three series of Absolutely Fabulous along with a bonus disc of extras, most of which are not included in this Region 4 compilation. However, the big clincher is the fact that Season 4 is presented full screen in Region 1, not widescreen as it should be, so you cannot get a satisfactory complete series of Absolutely Fabulous from Region 1. The other issue worth considering is that the Region 1 DVDs will be PAL to NTSC conversions, a conversion that will do picture quality no favours at all. All-in-all, the most reasonable approach to this title would be to consider the Region 4 version as the version of choice.
