    There is no reason to prefer one over the other here (although staying away from both is my recommendation). The R1 is a single layer disc, but given the late placement of the layer change on our disc, the extra space afforded by the additional layer does not appear to have been used. Additionally, the bios included on the R1 are apparently inaccurate.
