    The withdrawn from sale R4 version is exactly the same as the old R2 version. There is no R1 version of the longer print available, as far as we know. This version is the same as the 100 minute NTSC US laserdisc release. The subsequent R4 DVD is the shorter theatrical version, which has better video quality but of course was derived from the shorter US theatrical print. This is sad news for collectors. The chances are that no usable print of the full version was available for transfer onto DVD.
