Absentia: Season Two (2019)
Ray N

Absentia, a Prime Original TV series, returns with female FBI agent Emily Byrne (Stana Katic) still traumatised from her ordeal. But it is not over for Emily: in Absentia: Season Two, with a deadly terrorist attack on a Federal building and a serial killer on the loose, there are links to Emily’s past in the crimes committed which place the lives of those close to her in jeopardy. . Joker (Blu-ray) (2019)
CallumK

Critics were divided, but the audience response was almost unanimously positive, with Joker maintaining a high place on IMDb's Top 250. In short, Joker is outstanding - it's tragic, cathartic, transfixing, and never once redemptive. It's bottled lightning. Perfection. On Blu-ray, Joker looks very good, while the Dolby Atmos track is flawless. Unfortunately, the disc comes up short in terms of special features, but what's included is at least good value. If you're not 4K-compatible, this is a wise purchase. Highly recommended. . Sponsored by Atlantic DVD.

Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (4K Blu-ray) (2019)
CallumK

In 2160p, Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles looks much better than the regular Blu-ray; more refined and featuring a superior colour palette, owing to the High Dynamic Range grade. The audio track, meanwhile, is the same as the Blu-ray, without much surround activity. Throw in the standard Blu-ray with its selection of special features, and this one comes recommended. If the premise appeals to you, it's worth the blind buy. . Sponsored by Atomic Movies.

Cinderella (4K Blu-ray) (2015)
CallumK

Thanks to Kenneth Branagh's astute direction, as well as the resistance to create a revisionist take, Cinderella is an utterly enchanting fantasy which will enrapture children and leave adults enjoying themselves, rather than glancing at their watches. I've wanted a 4K Blu-ray release of Cinderella for some time, especially since it was shot on film and looked so remarkable on regular Blu-ray. Disney has finally delivered, and the disc doesn't disappoint in the slightest. In 2160p, the movie looks beautiful, and the Dolby Atmos soundtrack is also a winner, particularly by Disney standards. The lack of any extras is a letdown, but if you simply want the movie on 4K, this is a wise purchase. Highly recommended. . Sponsored by DeVoteD.

Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Blu-ray) (2019)
CallumK

Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is one of the better DC Comics animated movies, verifying that the brand is still alive and well. With the live-action movies receiving a huge rethink, it's great that DC animation can still be relied upon to create quality content. On Blu-ray, the movie looks and sounds very good, with some minor caveats. The extras, meanwhile, are worthwhile and insightful. Especially if you're a fan of DC animation, this is a smart buy (unless you're 4K-compatible). Recommended. . Sponsored by DVD Buzz.
