One of two new releases this month in the World Rally Championship series from Beyond Home Entertainment is WRC-Top 10 Out of Control which is a special put together in 2009 featuring ten moments of mayhem from the last 10 or so years of WRC. The incidents in question are a mixture of fights, dummy spits, altercations with police, injuries, damage to vehicles and run-ins with wild animals. Some of the most famous drivers in WRC are featured including Carlos Sainz, Colin MacCrae and Marcus Gronholm. This show was obviously produced for TV as it runs for 52 minutes and includes advertisement bumpers. The actual Top 10 are also surrounded by a variety of other incidents which fit the bill rounding out the 50 minutes quite nicely.
This is an entertaining show for the rev-head in your life.
The feature is presented in a 1.73:1 aspect ratio, 16x9 enhanced which is, I would guess, the original aspect ratio.
The picture was quite clear and sharp without being spectacular. There were some minor MPEG artefacts during fast motion. The colour was fine.
There were some jagged edges but no other noticeable artefacts.
There are no subtitles.
