The second of two new releases this month in the World Rally Championship series from Beyond Home Entertainment is WRC-Top 10 Crashes which is a special put together in 2009 featuring ten of the most incredible crashes in the history of WRC. Also included are a number of other crashes which did not make the top 10. The top 10 was decided by an internet poll of viewers of WRC TV. One of the most incredible things about this collection of crashes is that none of the drivers or co-drivers was seriously injured in the destruction. Many of the cars were a complete mess, however, the crash cages saved the occupants. Quite a few also feature the younger drivers from the Junior WRC which seems to be where the drivers learn to crash. Of the senior drivers Colin McCrae gets into the top ten twice befitting his early career nickname of Colin McCrash. This show was obviously produced for TV as it runs for 52 minutes and includes advertisement bumpers. The actual Top 10 are also surrounded by a variety of other incidents which fit the bill rounding out the 50 minutes quite nicely.
This is an entertaining show for people who watch motor sports for the crashes.
The feature is presented in a 1.73:1 aspect ratio, 16x9 enhanced which is, I would guess, the original aspect ratio.
The picture was quite clear and sharp without being spectacular. There were some minor MPEG artefacts during fast motion. The colour was fine.
There were some jagged edges but no other noticeable artefacts.
There are no subtitles.

The menu includes music and motion.
An entire extra show is included as an extra which covers the history of the Rally of Finland since its inception. Finland is a very fast rally with lots of jumps. It also covers the great Finnish drivers who have dominated the WRC for many years such as Makkinen, Gronholm & more. Great extra.
NOTE: To view non-R4 releases, your equipment needs to be multi-zone compatible and usually also NTSC compatible.
There is no Region 1 release.
The video quality is very good. The audio quality is good.
One high quality extra.
